Preventive maintenance for commercial fitness equipment
Scheduled visits that catch wear before it becomes a breakdown.
Ask About a Service PlanElevate Commercial Fitness puts commercial fitness rooms on a preventive maintenance schedule, primarily in Southern California and San Diego County, including rooms with equipment we didn't sell. Scheduled visits catch wear before it turns into a breakdown, and nobody on your team has to remember to call.

How it works
Equipment in an apartment clubhouse, hotel or office gym gets daily use from many people, usually with no one on site watching for wear. Small problems like a worn belt, a frayed cable or a loose fastener build slowly, and then become a machine with an out-of-order sign on it.
Each plan is set up for the equipment actually in your room. A typical visit includes:
- Inspecting each machine for wear and safety issues
- Cleaning and lubricating moving parts where the manufacturer calls for it
- Checking and adjusting belts, cables, pulleys and fasteners
- Testing consoles, electronics and safety stops
- Telling you what needs repair, and what it will take, before any repair work is done
It depends on how hard the room is used and what's in it. Manufacturers' own service programs run on a similar cycle: Life Fitness schedules preventive maintenance visits every 3 or 6 months, and Precor builds its programs around monthly, quarterly and semi-annual tasks. We'll recommend a schedule once we've seen the room and the equipment list.
We can issue a certificate of insurance to your management company's requirements before the first visit, and cover several properties on one plan.
FAQ
Do we need a maintenance agreement?
No. Repairs are available either way. Most clients end up on a PM schedule because it means nobody has to remember to call.
Will you service equipment you didn't sell?
Yes, if it's commercial grade. It's a normal way for us to meet a client. We'll tell you honestly what's worth maintaining and what isn't before you spend anything.
What happens when a part is discontinued?
We will let you know. Then we can evaluate if the machine is realistically worth keeping, and what replacing it would take.
